Sheila Nielsen: A Journey of Transformation and Healing
Sheila Nielsen has spent most of her career in the corporate setting, specializing in business and brand development. However, her true passion lies in holistic healing, hypnosis, and past life regressions. Raised in Alberta, Canada, and having lived in Arizona, Texas, Montana, and Florida, Sheila’s life has been one of transformation, learning, and adventure. Her joy and passion are to educate and help people live the lives they deserve, rather than the ones they believe they are stuck with.
In 2014, Sheila took a break from the corporate world to return to school and dive deeper into Hypnotherapy—a field she had personally benefited from. Sheila had experienced numerous hypnotherapy sessions that helped her uncover and release behavioral issues. This was particularly impactful after an accident left her bedridden with a broken neck, back, and skull. Allergic to most medications, Sheila relied on hypnotherapy techniques to manage debilitating pain and release childhood traumas. Within months, she was walking and resuming a normal teenage life.
Her decision to return to school was driven by a desire to learn more about Hypnotherapy. The more she learned, the more she realized the potential for this information to change lives. Sheila completed advanced courses and, although she appreciated the knowledge gained, she found the classroom setting and associated costs to be prohibitive. This realization led her to purchase the curriculum with the vision of creating an online platform to provide comprehensive and accessible education in hypnotherapy.
After years of developing a metaphysical holistic healing approach, Sheila completed her Masters Certification. In 2024, she released a Clinical program for hypnotherapists and other holistic healers, aimed at educating them on clinical issues to better serve and understand their clients. In addition to certification programs, Sheila’s organization, HPC, offers workshops for personal development and continuing education (CEU) for practitioners. These workshops are designed to help individuals begin their healing journey, understand their behaviors, and add to their practice with specialized courses.

Walter Ernst, CCCHt.
Intuitive Counselor/ Master Hypnotherapist
Walter Ernst spent his career as a developer, kung fu expert, and broker. Following his retirement, he pursued further education to obtain his Clinical Counselor certification as a Master Hypnotherapist. With his unique ability as an intuitive counselor, Walter has developed numerous strategies for specializing in pain management, anxiety, and PTSD with his clients.
After relocating to Florida, Walter established a storefront promoting holistic healing, hypnotherapy, and personal development workshops. Through these initiatives, he helps his clients remove unwanted behaviors and discover their innate ability to heal from within.
Walter’s journey took a significant turn after he suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) from a horse accident. Using his hypnotic techniques, he healed his brain and enhanced his ability to connect to his intuition at a higher vibrational frequency. This experience has made him a distinctive teacher and healer in counseling and hypnotherapy.
Walter brings his extensive coaching skills to help students, particularly those with higher intuitive abilities, when studying hypnotherapy. His commitment to holistic healing and personal development continues to inspire and transform the lives of those he works with.

Drake Drum
Director of Marketing
Drake Drum joined Hypnotherapy Professional College after graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder. With a deep understanding of the subconscious mind and the interplay of memories and emotions, Drake brings a unique set of skills to our institution. His expertise in hypnosis, particularly in alleviating past traumas and emotions, enriches the learning experience for our students.
In addition to his hypnotherapy knowledge, Drake possesses exceptional IT skills, which are instrumental in helping students navigate through various courses and certifications. As our Marketing Manager, he efficiently manages the backend operations of the school, ensuring smooth navigation and access to educational resources.
Drake’s dual role combines his passion for hypnotherapy with his technical acumen, making him a valuable asset to Hypnotherapy Professional College. His contributions not only enhance our academic offerings but also improve the overall experience for our students.
